Para Equipment Loaner program to USATF Clubs/Teams

With the new USATF Youth Para Rules being published in the USATF rule book #307, the Chiavaroli
Family and Dixie Wheelchair Athletic Association will be offering their equipment loaner program to all
Florida Teams/Clubs of USATF. The Chiavaroli’s began the program in 2010 after receiving a call from
Paralympian Scot Hollonbeck. He said that the Florida high school inclusion program was to be
implemented soon and asked if we could find some racing and throws chairs to loan out to the athletes.
By providing this loaner equipment the schools would not have any excuses not to include the Para
Athletes. The Chiavaroli Family found donated equipment and also received a grant from the USOPC
and started loaning this equipment to Para athletes.
The Chiavaroli family will now open the door to all Florida Teams/Clubs of USATF, and provide loaner
equipment to any Para Youth Athlete that wishes to be part of their Team/Club and compete in Track
and Field.
To obtain the equipment, the coach only needs to contact the Chiavaroli’s at
bayonetpointengine@gmail.com and they will make arrangements to provide this equipment.
