USATF Florida Officials March Newsletter

Happy Birthday to ALL born in the Month of March!!!!!!


Recertification is now on the way  for the new Olympiad 2025-2028 Season.  All certified Officials should have this completed by March 31, 2025 at the latest.  Things to remember to do before your recertification can be processed.  For those of you who have already completed these steps, Thank you.   Please remember to add your resume, Unfortunately the resume and photo does not come to me if you attached it to your recertification application.  If you are missing certain events on your badge it can be added during this time. Officials who were certified for the first time during 2024 will not have to recertify but you will need to make sure your membership, safe sport and background is current and all fees are paid.  Officials who would like to upgrade please send your upgrade application, resume, letters of recommendation and test questions (National/Masters) all at one time. You must meet the requirements listed in the USATF upgrade criteria before submitting the application.

Certification Fee $20.00 (To pay this click on your officials certification status and click on the invalid or lapsed tab, this will open the screen to allow you to pay)
Recent photo ( NO hats, NO sunglasses,  white or beige background, e.g. passport like photo, This will be on your badge.)

If you are currently certified in any Specialty field e.g. Implements, LDR, Racewalk and Combined events etc.  You may complete those additional reviews using the link provided above.  Master Officials must complete 8 questions and National 5 questions with 1 being a Starter question for the new Olympiad season.  There are 29 questions to choose from.

Association Training: This is recommended for ALL seeking to be upgraded. These can include any of the Zoom links and in person training posted by the Certification Chair or any record of attendance from a USATF Training website or Association with proof of attendance.
