Eight-year-old doubles for AOW
PORTLAND, Oregon -- With just two days until the start of the IAAF World Indoor Championships - Portland 2016, let’s take a look at Team USA “By the Numbers” heading into this weekend.
PORTLAND, Oregon – Eight World Indoor Championships medalists, including two-time defending heptathlon champion Ashton Eaton (Bend, Oregon), highlight Team USA’s roster for the IAAF World Indoor Championships – Portland 2016. In total, 58 athletes will represent the red, white and blue at the Oregon Convention Center, March 17-20.
USATF Hershey Youth Indoor Championships come to a close Sunday
STATEN ISLAND -- It was raining records on Day 2 of the USATF Hershey Youth Indoor Championships at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island, Saturday, as the second day of competition concluded.
JACKSONVILLE, Florida -- For the second time in as many USATF Running Circuit races, the winners of Saturday’s USATF 15 km Championships won their first national titles, as Tara Welling and Stanley Kebenei both beat deep and talented fields to earn victories in Jacksonville, an event hosted by the Gate River Run.
PORTLAND, Oregon -- Teenage phenom Vashti Cunningham (Las Vegas, Nevada) had the crowd at the Oregon Convention Center on their feet, as she broke the world indoor junior record in the women’s high jump to highlight a stellar Saturday as the USATF Indoor Championships came to a close.
