INDIANAPOLIS -- USATF and Let’s Move! Active Schools have announced the third round of schools to receive RunJumpThrow Equipment grants. The grants from USATF provide schools with equipment to teach the basic skills of running, jumping and throwing, whether in the classroom, as part of before and after school programs, or through sport clubs and teams.

EARTH CITY, Missouri -- Olympian Maria Michta-Coffey (Farmingville, New York) had a record-setting Sunday, breaking the 10 km American record en route to the 20 km race walk title at the U.S. Trials for the IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships. On the men’s side, three-time Olympian John Nunn (Bonsall, California) won the 20 km title to qualify for the U.S. team at both the 20 km and 50 km distances.
