KAMPALA, Uganda -- The 28 men and women representing Team USA previewed the Kololo Independence Grounds for the final time Saturday, as teams got one last look at the course where Sunday’s IAAF World Cross Country Championships will be contested.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Following the completion of elections and appointments, USATF on Friday announced the following roster of committee chairs.
INDIANAPOLIS -- Triple threat Christian Walker (USATF New York; Metro Eagles) capped off his 2017 indoor season by winning three national titles on the final day of USATF Hershey Youth National Indoor Championships at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
NEW YORK CITY -- Dr. Norbert Sander, founder of The Armory Foundation and influencer of the National Track & Field Hall of Fame’s placement at The Armory, died Friday at age 74.
PITTSBURGH -- The USA Track & Field Foundation Chairman Bob Greifeld and Executive Director Tom Jackovic announced today it has awarded 32 Youth Club Grants to track & field clubs throughout the country. The grants assist young male and female athletes with expenses such as travel to meets, equipment, uniforms and facility rental.
INDIANAPOLIS -- USA Track & Field on Thursday was named a finalist for two 2017 Shorty Awards, which recognize outstanding social media influencers, brands and organizations.
DAEGU, South Korea -- After setting 10 world and 40 American age group records last month at the USATF Masters Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Team USA is set to go for gold at the World Masters Association Indoor Championships in Daegu, South Korea, beginning Sunday, March 19 and running until Saturday, March 25. 101 Americans are making the trip, and they will take on the world’s best. 4,689 athletes representing 73 countries will compete in Daegu.
