INDIANAPOLIS -- A stellar lineup of athletic greats and legendary contributors make up the USATF National Track & Field Hall of Fame Class of 2016, USATF announced Thursday. The five newest members will be inducted during the second annual Black Tie & Sneakers Gala in New York City on November 3.
PERTH, AUSTRALIA -- 244 Team USA athletes, age 35-90+, are headed to Perth, Australia, to compete in the World Masters Athletics Championships October 26-November 6. The USA team includes 16 returning world champions and 20 national age group champions. Team USA joins the meet’s over 4000 athletes and 90 countries.
BOSTON -- Despite cool and blustery conditions, Emily Sisson put on a show, dominating her competition on her way to victory at Monday’s USATF Women’s 10 km Championships, hosted by the Tufts Health Plan 10K in Boston.
Cool weather and calm winds led to fast times Sunday morning, as Sam Chelanga and Jordan Hasay won in the final quarter mile of their respective races at the USATF 10 Mile Championships, hosted by the Medtronic TC 10 Mile.

Following a historic Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, USA Track & Field's finest will converge in Orlando, Florida, for the 2016 Jesse Owens Awards on Saturday, December 3.
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK -- It was raining records at the USATF Masters 5K Road Championships at the Syracuse Festival of Races last weekend, as four new U.S. records and two world bests were registered. Kevin Castille led the masters men around the course in 14:46 and Janet McDevitt took the women’s crown in 17:41. Championships were contested up through M85-89.
INDIANAPOLIS -- Track and field fans have the opportunity to help select USATF’s 2016 Jesse Owens and Jackie Joyner-Kersee winners and the 2016 USATF Youth Athlete of the Year through online voting.
