Most accounting graduates move on from the classroom to the land of cubicles and corporate offices to count the beans, but after Nick Arciniaga graduated from Cal-State Fullerton in 2006, he quickly realized that was not the life he was called to lead. Today, Arciniaga works in a professional field where shorts are part of the uniform, naps are encouraged and running twice a day is the norm.

INDIANAPOLIS – Andrew Carlson (Minneapolis, Minn.) returns to Grand Rapids looking to defend his 25 km title while 2004 Olympian Colleen De Reuck (Boulder, Colo.) looks to win her second women’s title since 2005 at the 2011 USA 25 km Championships. The championships will be hosted for the 18th year by the Fifth Third River Bank Run this Saturday.
MINNEAPOLIS - Despite cool conditions and wet streets from an earlier light rain, David Torrence (Oakland, Calif.) and Sara Hall (Big Bear Lake, Calif.) turned in hot times at the third USA 1 Mile Road Championships Thursday evening in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In earning his third consecutive title, Torrence ran a course record 3:58.4, minutes after Hall turned her women's course record of 4:30.8.

INDIANAPOLIS - Masters phenom Willie Gault has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after he set masters 50-54 world records in the 100 meter (10.88) and 200m (22.44) last weekend at the Occidental Invitational in Los Angeles.
