The following athletes have been chosen for Team USA's initial relay pools leading up to the 2011 IAAF World Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Daegu, South Korea. Per IAAF rules, the pools must include the top four finishers in the men's and women's 100 and 400 meters at the 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Additional athletes were chosen by Team USA’s head coaches for the 2011 World Championships, Vin Lananna and Connie Price-Smith; USATF Relay Coach Jon Drummond; and 2011 Team USA World Championships sprint coaches Thomas Johnson and Danny Williams, with oversight by USATF Chief of Sport Performance Benita Fitzgerald Mosley.
LILLE, FRANCE – A squad of 41 youth athletes headlined by Arman Hall and Amy Weissenbach look to start their careers as elite athletes on an international level  and to defend Team USA’s winning streak at the 2011 IAAF World Youth Championships July 6-10 in Lille, France.

ATLANTA - Ben True (Hanover, N.H.) outkicked defending U.S. champion Ed Moran (Williamsburg, Va.) to take the 2011 USA Men's 10 km title Monday at the AJC Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, Ga. True ran 28:28 to power his way to a fifth-place finish in a top international field, winning his first U.S. title in the process.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Lauren Williams and Tyjon Lindley led multiple event winners as the USA Youth Outdoor Track & Field Championships wrapped up competition.  Williams swept the midget girls' sprints with wins in the 100m, 200m and 400m. Lindley earned national titles in the 200m, 400m and 80m hurdles for the midget boys.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Magdalyn Ewen was a dominant force in the young women's shot put and discus throws, highlighting day four of the USA Youth Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Ewen took gold medals in both events and was just a meter shy of 2011 USA Outdoor champion Michelle Carter's national youth shot put record.

When Haley Crouser’s family has a gathering, it looks more like a who’s who of our nation's outstanding throwers than your typical family picnic. Crouser’s pedigree is one that any thrower would envy. Her father, Dean, was a three-time NCAA champion at the University of Oregon who specialized in discus and shot put, while her uncle, Brian, was the first freshman to win an NCAA javelin title. Haley’s brother Sam set a new high school javelin record before heading to his father’s alma mater, and her cousin Ryan was the nation’s top ranked high school discus thrower this year.
INDIANAPOLIS - Bringing the largest contingent ever to the World Masters Athletics Championships, 1,915 members of Team USA will be on a medal hunt to excel on home soil while competing against 4,804 competitors from 93 countries.
