SACRAMENTO, CALIF. - Ralph Maxwell of Alamo, Texas doubled the previous world record in the M90 decathlon with his winning score of 7,069 on the second day of competition at the 2011 WMA World Track & Field Field Championships.
INDIANAPOLIS –Aldrich Bailey has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week for his performances at the recent World Youth Track & Field Trials held in Myrtle Beach, S. C.
LILLE, FRANCE – Ethan Cochran had the throw of his life to improve his personal best in the discus by three meters and win the silver medal during day one of the 2011 IAAF World Youth Championships held in Lille, France, July 6-10.

LILLE, FRANCE – A squad of 41 youth athletes headlined by Arman Hall and Amy Weissenbach look to start their careers as elite athletes on an international level  and to defend Team USA’s winning streak at the 2011 IAAF World Youth Championships July 6-10 in Lille, France.
The following athletes have been chosen for Team USA's initial relay pools leading up to the 2011 IAAF World Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Daegu, South Korea. Per IAAF rules, the pools must include the top four finishers in the men's and women's 100 and 400 meters at the 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Additional athletes were chosen by Team USA’s head coaches for the 2011 World Championships, Vin Lananna and Connie Price-Smith; USATF Relay Coach Jon Drummond; and 2011 Team USA World Championships sprint coaches Thomas Johnson and Danny Williams, with oversight by USATF Chief of Sport Performance Benita Fitzgerald Mosley.

ATLANTA - Ben True (Hanover, N.H.) outkicked defending U.S. champion Ed Moran (Williamsburg, Va.) to take the 2011 USA Men's 10 km title Monday at the AJC Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, Ga. True ran 28:28 to power his way to a fifth-place finish in a top international field, winning his first U.S. title in the process.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Lauren Williams and Tyjon Lindley led multiple event winners as the USA Youth Outdoor Track & Field Championships wrapped up competition.  Williams swept the midget girls' sprints with wins in the 100m, 200m and 400m. Lindley earned national titles in the 200m, 400m and 80m hurdles for the midget boys.
