INDIANAPOLIS - Fifteen-year-old Alana Hadley has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after winning the Queens Royals Challenge 5 km Friday at the McAlpine Greenway Park in Charlotte, N.C.

Chelsea Reilly lined up next to Olympians and national champions at the starting line of the USA 10 km Championships. Fresh out of her collegiate career at UC Berkley, Reilly had every right to be nervous: she had never raced a 10 km, it was the longest race of her life and it was her first USA Championship. INDIANAPOLIS - In her first year as a professional, Chelsea Reilly (Oakland, Calif.) won her first U.S. Championship as she claimed the women’s 10 km title at the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women on Monday.
