Men’s and women’s American teams will again travel to compete in the longest contested running foot-race in the world at the 2013 International Association of Ultrarunning (IAU) World 24-Hour Championships Saturday and Sunday in Steenbergen, the Netherlands.
Moving to the United States in the sixth grade, Meb Keflezighi didn’t speak English and hadn’t yet discovered his talent as a runner.
Brittney Reese and Ryan Whiting both got their Diamond League seasons off to a strong start Friday as each recorded meet records and world-leading marks in their respective events in Doha.
