NEW YORK CITY – In two weeks athletes from across the nation will band together with pride to represent Team USA at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London, England. In preparation for this momentous event, the USATF Foundation announced 25 Stephen A. Schwarzman grant awards in the amount of $25,000 to members of Team USA today, announced Foundation Executive Director Tom Jackovic and Chairman Bob Greifeld.
LAWRENCE, Kansas -- Over the next seven days, nearly 8,000 young athletes will compete for national titles at USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships at Rock Chalk Park, University of Kansas. Action kicked off Monday with the multi-events, steeplechase and race walk.

MONACO -- Rio 2016 Olympian and World Indoor silver medalist Ajee’ Wilson broke the American record in the women’s 800 meters Friday, shattering the previous record by nearly a second with a 1:55.61 at the Herculis Diamond League Meeting in Monte Carlo.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Age is just a number for Julia “Hurricane” Hawkins who, at 101, earns USATF Athlete of the Week honors after her exceptional 100m performance and inspirational attitude at the 50th annual USATF Masters Outdoor Championships in Baton Rouge.
RABAT, Morocco -- Team USATF Olympians Ryan Crouser and Ryan Whiting highlighted the Diamond League meeting in Rabat, Morocco this past weekend. Crouser, the 2016 Olympic Champion, claimed his third Diamond League victory this season with a meet record throw of 22.47m /73-8.75. Whiting, a 2012 Olympian and 2013 IAAF World silver medalist joined Crouser on the podium with finishing in third with a mark of 20.26m /66-5.75.
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- The 50th annual USATF Masters Outdoor Championships closed Sunday with seven American records set on the final day of competition at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track & Field Stadium. Final pending record count fourteen American and four world, per Masters Records Chair Jeff Brower.
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- The full age range of Masters athletes was on display Saturday as 2008 two-time Olympian Walter Dix, 31, and newcomer Julia Hawkins, 101, reigned supreme in the 100m at USATF Masters Outdoor Championships.
