INDIANAPOLIS — William Bell, Sr., (Jonesboro, Ark.) has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after setting a world record in the men’s 90-94 age group at the USA Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Olathe, Kan.
Highlighted by wins from Charles Jock (men’s 800m), Justin Gaymon (men’s 400m hurdles), Brianna Rollins (women’s 100m hurdles) and Ryan Grinell (men’s triple jump), American athletes competed Wednesday at the Spitzen Leichtathletik Luzern in Luzern, Switzerland.
