NANJING, China – Olympic long jump champion Dwight Phillips knows a little something about rising to the occasion and succeeding under pressure, a lesson he was excited to share with the 16 track and field athletes representing Team USA at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
Myles Marshall’s parents devised a strategy for their son: Run your own race. He followed that plan to a "T" Sunday night and won a gold medal.

When track & field events concluded Monday at the Youth Olympic Games, Myles Marshall was the shining Team USA star as he won his first international gold medal to accompany the gold and two bronzes already accomplished by the Americans in track & field.
