INDIANAPOLIS -- Voting is now open for the 2014 USATF Fan’s Choice Awards. There are new categories for 2014, including the Best IAAF World Indoor Championships Performer, Best IAAF World Junior Championships Performer, Inspirational Performance of the Year and Performance of the Year.

INDIANAPOLIS – Boston Marathon champion Meb Keflezighi and USATF Outdoor champion and Diamond League winner Jenny Simpson have been named the 2014 USATF Jesse Owens and Jackie Joyner-Kersee Athletes of the Year, respectively.

INDIANAPOLIS – A furious early pace by Olympian Molly Huddle split the pack early, while a tenacious finish by Brian Shrader put a gap on the field late, but the end result was the same, as both took home top prize Sunday morning at the .US National 12K in Alexandria, Virginia.
Mike Wardian (Arlington, Virginia), led the top three finishers (all M40-44) to become the hometown hero and the overall Masters 12K champion.
