STATEN ISLAND, New York -- America’s youth hit the track on the first day of the 2018 USATF Hershey National Youth Indoor Championships at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday. Day one came to a close with 22 finals contested and three meet records.
USATF Masters Indoor Championships features Olympians, World Record holders, local & national stars from 30 to 102 yrs. old (Oldest ever), plus record 1219 entrants
Two USATF masters athletes, W65 middle-distance ace Kathy Martin and M80 sprinter Bob Lida, have been selected as the WMA (World Masters Athletics) Athletes of the year for 2017, making this the first time two U.S. athletes have been honored in the same year. Lida previously won the prestigious award in 2012.
