Lindy Remigino, the 1952 Olympic gold medalist in the 100-meters and the 4x100 relay, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Wednesday, July 12. He was 87. He was surrounded by his family at his home in Newington, CT, at the time of his passing.

The two-day event showcased multi-event athletes from the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Mexico, and France, among other nations.
ATLANTA, Georgia – Stephanie Bruce and Bernard Lagat outlasted tough competition Wednesday morning at the USATF 10 km Championships, using their superior closing speed to earn victories, as runners fought warm temperatures and humidity in Atlanta during the sixth stop on the USATF Running Circuit, hosted by the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
