MINNEAPOLIS -- Hometown favorite and reigning USATF 1 Mile Road champion Heather Kampf and fellow Minnesotan Garrett Heath lead the women’s and men’s fields at Thursday evening’s USATF 1 Mile Road Championships, hosted by the Medtronic TC 1 Mile in St. Paul, Minnesota.
LOS ANGELES -- Some of the best middle distance athletes in the country will take to the track on Thursday, May 14 as the USATF Championships Series heads to Los Angeles for the HOKA ONE ONE Middle Distance Classic. Held at Jack Kemp Stadium on the campus of Occidental College, general admission tickets are $10 and sold at the gate. Students and USATF members can purchase tickets for $5.

INDIANAPOLIS -- USA Track & Field announced Tuesday the coaching staffs that will lead Team USA at the IAAF World Championships and Pan American Games this summer.
ARICA, Chile -- The senior women of Team USA, led by Olympian Maria Michta-Coffey, turned in a podium finish at the Pan American Race Walking Cup in Arica, Chile this weekend. Michta-Coffey finished fifth overall in women’s 20 km, as the U.S. senior women took home the bronze with 35 points.

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan -- Jared Ward pulled away late to win his second consecutive USATF Running Circuit race, while Lindsey Scherf broke away over the final miles to win her first national title, Saturday morning at the USATF 25 km Championships in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted by the Fifth Third River Bank Run.
